Dr Anil S Das, a agricultural services expert and Director of Planning at Kerala Agricultural university collapsed and died during a live telecast on Doordarshan live.
59 years old Anil S Das was going to participate in Krishi Darshan programme on Doordarshan. The programme was planned on Friday 6.30 pm in the channels studio, Thiruvananthapuram. The incident occurs on the live telecast of the show. Dr Anil Das collapsed on the channels studio and was suddenly given medical attention. He was rushed to Medical College Hospital. Despite giving immediate medical attention he was unable to revived and the authorities declared of his demise.

Dr Anil S Das was a native of Kadakkal in Kollam district. He was Executive Director of Centre of Bioresources and Agricultural services. He was also Managing Director of Kerala Livestock Development Board (KLDB), Kerala feeds Limited and other state government undertakings.
